The World Kungfu Federation (WKF) is proud to announce the launch of the Online World Traditional Kungfu Championship 2026, an international digital event open to all practitioners, schools, academies, and national federations—members and non‑members alike.

This global online championship aims to unite Kungfu practitioners from every corner of the world, celebrating the beauty, diversity, and cultural heritage of traditional Kungfu forms, katas, taolu, and style‑specific routines. Whether you practice Shaolin, Wing Chun, Hung Gar, Bajiquan, Choy Li Fut, Wudang, Mantis, Eagle Claw, or any other recognized traditional system, this event welcomes your participation.

A Global Stage for All Kungfu Practitioners

The WKF believes that Kungfu is a universal art that belongs to everyone. By hosting this championship online, we aim to:

• Provide equal opportunity for practitioners worldwide
• Support countries with limited access to international travel
• Promote cultural exchange between different Kungfu lineages
• Encourage youth participation and global unity
• Showcase the richness of traditional Kungfu styles

This event is open to all countries, regardless of federation membership. Our goal is to create the largest online Kungfu gathering in history.

Competition Categories

Participants may submit videos in the following divisions:

• Traditional Hand Forms
• Traditional Weapon Forms
• Internal Kungfu Forms (Taiji, Bagua, Xingyi)
• Style‑Specific Routines (Wing Chun, Hung Gar, Shaolin, etc.)
• Youth Divisions (U10, U14, U18)
• Adult Divisions (18–35, 35+)
• Masters Division (50+)

Each performance will be judged by WKF‑certified referees using standardized criteria for:

• Technique
• Power
• Rhythm
• Authenticity of style
• Spirit and presentation

Awards & Recognition

All participants will receive:

• Digital participation certificate
• Official WKF ranking points (for members)
• Style‑specific excellence awards
• Top 3 medals per category

Outstanding performers may be invited to future WKF international events.

Participants register through a dedicated WKF portal:

Video Submission Guidelines

Participants record their forms and upload them to:

• YouTube (unlisted)
• Google Drive
• Dropbox
• ETC

Video requirements:

• Clear lighting
• Full body visible
• No editing or cuts
• Traditional uniform preferred
• Background must be neutral

Judging Panel

WKF appoints:

• 3–5 judges per category
• Judges from different countries
• A head judge to finalize scores

Judges receive videos through a secure WKF judging dashboard.

Scoring System

Each judge scores:

• Technique (40%)
• Power & Expression (20%)
• Style Authenticity (20%)
• Presentation & Spirit (20%)

Scores are averaged automatically.

• No edited videos
• No slow‑motion or filters
• Time‑stamped submissions
• Instructor verification for youth categories
